Saying one thing, doing another

That’s the hallmark of the Obama administration. Just like the health-care mantra is “choice and competition” when it’s actually state-run totalitarian health care on the Soviet model, Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner has the unmitigated gall to say this:

The United States must live within its means once its economy recovers if it is to preserve global confidence in the U.S. dollar’s status, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said on Friday.

The comments came as the Obama administration reported a record U.S. budget deficit for the fiscal year ended September of $1.4 trillion. At 10 percent of gross domestic product, it was the biggest U.S. fiscal shortfall since World War Two.

Who does he think the architect of this fiscal debacle is, for cryin’ out loud. It’s him and Obama (with a good assist from Chris Dodd, Barney Frank and ACORN, to be fair).

Will Obamanoids let go of the race meme?

Actual empirical research shows that the preponderance of opposition to Barack Obama is not rooted in racism after :

Racism is not a factor driving conservative opposition to President Barack Obama, according to the results of focus groups conducted by Democracy Corps, a Democratic organization, released on Friday.

So, will the media, lefties, Democrats and the professional football player’s union give up the race meme? Somehow I doubt it. Actual facts don’t seem to mean much to those who have drunk the Obama Kool-Aid.
