Racial profiling insanity

Posted December 5th, 2007 at 11:51 AM by Jon Ham

You can’t make this up. A black ACLU racial-profiling expert on the way to a racial-profiling seminar was stopped by cops at an airport and is now suing for racial profiling. The airport, by the way, was Boston’s Logan, where the two of the 9/11 ring leaders began their flight that morning in 2001.

But here’s the rub. The man was initially stopped by a black security officer, who was soon joined by several other black security officers. He was stopped, the officer said, because of his behavior, which exhibited standard behavior profile warning signs. It will be interesting to see how this comes out.

The alleged incident took place FOUR YEARS ago. Why has it taken so long to file a lawsuit?
