More Intolerance From The Left

With this story, radical feminists prove again that they’re all about leftist beliefs, not opportunity for women. If you’re pro-abortion, pro gay marriage, and demand that the government and business provide you special treatment and goodies, they love you. If you believe anything else, you draw insults and scorn.

The latest example of the tired movement’s intolerance comes from Sonia Pressman Fuentes, co-founder of the National Organization for Women, and others. They object to former First Lady Laura Bush being honored for her work related to breast cancer and heart disease by the Sewall-Belmont House.

Twenty-two women, including former members of the museum’s board, have penned a letter to the museum in protest of Bush’s selection for the Alice Award, as first reported by the Washington Post. Sonia Pressman Fuentes, co-founder of the National Organization for Women, led the charge.

“When I read that the award was going to be given to Laura Bush, I felt as if I’d had a sudden onset of Alzheimer’s,” she told Yeas & Nays. “I couldn’t believe my eyes.”

Someone please tell the feminists it’s not 1965. One would think the feminists would embrace that women are making choices that are right for them and leading happy, productive lives.
