Congress Preparing To Vote On Exactly What “The Rich” Do And Don’t “Deserve”

Wednesday will be a fascinating day in D.C. The U.S. Senate is expected to cast a procedural vote related to the Bush-era tax rates. That means that in the days ahead, we’ll find out exactly what the senators and congressmen think about “the rich” — that is, those making more than $250,000 per year. Expect a blatant display of class warfare politics grounded in stoking jealousy of success and casting successful, accomplished people as undeserving of the fruits of their labor and uncaring of others.

    They should extend the Bush Tax cuts for everyone except for Politicians and their families. They should be taxed at 95% of income over $250,000.
