Congratulations To Jim Goodnight Of SAS, #10 On The Tech Billionaires List

From Bloomberg.com comes the amazing success story of SAS founder Jim Goodnight — a man whose innovative ideas and hard work have paid off. For his hard work, he is now ranked as #10 on the list of the world’s richest technology billionaires. He should be lauded for his success and contributions but to today’s Left, he is a symbol of what’s wrong with America. After all, Goodnight is reportedly worth $10 billion, and that can’t possibly be “fair.”

Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg is no longer among the world’s 10 richest technology billionaires.

The 28-year-old’s fortune dropped by $423 million yesterday as shares of the world’s largest social media company fell 4 percent to $20.04 in New York, a record low. Zuckerberg is now worth $10.2 billion. He is about $400 million behind James Goodnight, the co-founder of Cary, North Carolina-based software maker SAS Institute Inc., who now ranks as technology’s 10th- richest person, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Has the “left” as you call them (a large amorphous grouping) said they don`t like Goodnight?
There is a difference between those who work hard and make money producing valuable product. And those who say just inherit from their parents and have done nothing for their money except be born to the right parents and it is those who you want zero % inheritance tax.
In a true meritocracy surely you would rather have some tax on inheritances (currently >$7 million isn`t it) than on income?
