Last night a pollster called my home and asked my opinion of the gubernatorial and presidential candidates. There were only 4 questions total. What was so interesting is that the pollster specifically told me to feel free to make comments. The pollster also told me her company was not polling for any particular candidate. Based on this, I suspect that someone/some organization is trying to gauge North Carolina turnout potential and the so-called “engagement” factor. Or, perhaps the client is seeking phrases and terms to use for or against a policy or party. It was interesting.
