With about six weeks to go, I’ve been keeping an eye out for presidential gear in Orange County.
Bumper stickers seem to be the preferred choice for Obama supporters this year. Yesterday I saw one I’d not seen in 2008: Counselors For Obama. I’m taking special note of cars that carry 2008 Obama stickers to see if they’ve updated to a 2012 sticker. By my unscientific observation, about 1 in 3 have both versions. Interestingly, I still see a few Kerry/Edwards bumper stickers — the true believers.
For Romney supporters, the item of choice seems to be yard signs. Romney signs have begun to show up over the past two weeks or so.
