The jobs misery continues.

A new report shows advertised IT open positions fell 12 percent in North Carolina in September – the third consecutive month of decrease. Nationally, IT job openings fell 1.1 percent.

Defense was the only tech industry that did not show declining demand. The only IT occupational group with an increase was systems administration, which was up 10.2 percent.
