Prediction: Hernandez will go
Posted January 27th, 2008 at 9:12 PM by Jon HamJohn McCain inexplicably announced Juan Hernandez, a dual Mexican-American citizen (yeah, that’s what we need) and a former Vicente Fox cabinet member with Soros-connections, as his Hispanic outreach coordinator. He was asked about it by a woman at a campaign event on Sunday.
His response contained a number of weasel words and disclaimers. He even said he’d “check in to the information you’ve given me.” That sounds like an out to me. I predict that within two days McCain will suddenly “become aware” of the incredible things Hernandez has said and will can the man. Maybe Vicente Fox has another job for him. What’s he doing hiring an agent of a foreign government, anyway? Hernandez’s mantra is “Mexico First.” Well, I suggest he choose Mexico.
If you want to check this guy out, just watch and listen, but take a Valium first.
UPDATE: Mickey Kaus has more, saying McCain is conning everyone and hasn’t changed his amnesty position at all.

America doesn’t recognize dual citizenships, right?. When you become an American citizen, I thought you had to renounce all other citizenships. I know my girlfriend and their family did, even though Canada would still recognize them as natural born citizens. Her sister had to turn over her Canadian passport when she joined the Air Force.
