John Edwards, the anti-Buckley
Posted January 30th, 2008 at 3:01 PM by Jon SandersWhen William F. Buckley announced the creation of National Review, he famously said:
It stands athwart history, yelling Stop, at a time when no one is inclined to do so, or to have much patience with those who so urge it.
Today John Edwards announced the end to his presidential campaign. ABC News reports:
Former Senator John Edwards, D-N.C., surrounded by his wife Elizabeth and his three children, announced Wednesday his presidential bid has come to an end.

Maybe he will go back to chasing ambulances.
Maybe he’ll get run over while running down the middle of the street.
Remember the wisdom of Confucius, who said, “Man who run behind ambulance get exhausted.”
