So THAT’s what you were talking about

Posted June 2nd, 2008 at 9:38 PM by Jon Ham

Bill Clinton finally sees what Republicans have had to endure during presidential campaigns for, oh, I don’t know, 60 years:

“It’s part of the national media’s attempt to nail Hillary for Obama,” Clinton continued. “It’s the most biased press coverage in history. It’s another way of helping Obama.”

Boo hoo. I can’t muster up much sympathy for the guy who was basically the Obama of 1992.

UPDATE: The Vanity Fair piece, mentioned at the link above, shows the media turnaround on Der Schlickmeister in the past couple of years. He has been thrown under the bus, as has Hillary. Question: Why is all this sleaziness new to the Vanity Fair writer? Did he sleep through the ’90s?

[...] Jon Ham welcomes the newest member of the Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy, Bill Clinton. There’s still room under the Obamination Bus, especially since the 9 am news noted he has a new one. [...]

  2. John Cole Says:

The writer, Todd Purdum, was a NYT reporter who covered the Clinton Administration (Clinton reportedly kvetched about the Purdum’s Whitewater stories) and is married to erstwhile Clinton flack Dee Dee Myers. So, they’re familiar.

  3. clayj Says:

And now Clinton has called Mr. Purdum a “scumbag”.

    Right backatcha, Mr. President.
