Some blog commenter wag many days ago used this line after Sarah Palin made fun of Barack Obama’s claim that being a community organizer prepared him to be president: “Jesus was a community organizer, Pontius Pilate was a governor.”

The Biblical accuracy of the line has been much discussed and debated over the past two weeks, but here’s something that actually is in the Bible and may have more bearing on current public affaris. It’s from Ecclesiastes 10:2, the New International Version:

The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.
