Somebody tell our president

Posted October 14th, 2009 at 9:17 AM by Jon Ham

Even the UN, the left-dominated UN, understands what happened in Honduras. Would somebody please tell President Obama and his secretary of state who the good guys are:

A study by the Department of Political Affairs of the United Nations Organization (UNO) on the causes of the crisis in Honduras, concluded that the removal of President Manuel Zelaya, “was constitutional under the laws of the country,” confirmed officials of that agency.

The world is truly upside-down when the UN observes the rule of law and the US supports the law-breaking Communist.

And it only took the geniuses at the UN months to figure this out — when a lot of us knew within a day or two that the ouster of Zelaya was entirely proper based simply on reading the appropriate clauses from the Honduran constitution.

In a more perfect world, I suppose, Zelaya would have gotten two in the chest and one in the head from the military officer who came to his house to arrest him for trying to subvert the constitution and take over the country. The problem with cockroaches is that if you don’t kill them, they inevitably breed. It may seem more civilized to just send the guy into exile, but doing so gives him the chance to try to convince gullible and willfully-ignorant people that he didn’t do anything wrong and is the victim.
