59% Say Cutting Taxes Better Than Gov’t Spending to Create Jobs

Yes, Americans do get it. On the heels of numerous polls that show Americans are opposed to a government takeover of the health care delivery system in the U.S., we have this:

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 59% of voters nationwide believe cutting taxes is better than increasing government spending as a job-creation tool.

Only 15% of voters hold the opposite view and believe that increasing government spending is the better approach.

It seems clear that a good chunk of that 15 percent work in the White House and/or Congress.
