From the Wall Street Journal about Andrew Young’s book on John Edwards:
Made in USA: Young says Edwards is an Atkins-dieter who hated making appearances at state fairs where “fat rednecks try to shove food down my face. I know I’m the people’s senator, but do I have to hang out with them?” Before a SEIU candidate forum in Las Vegas, Young says Edwards made him cut out a “made in the USA” label from Young’s own suit to sew in place of Edwards’s “made in Italy” label.
Just imagine what’s going through the minds of jurors who were snowed by Edwards in a courtroom.

I’m planning to buy and read this thing. It’ll be the first political tell-all book I’ll actually spend any time consuming.

I confess, my opinion towards John Edwards news in unchanged. I’m tired of hearing about him. I’ve always been tired of hearing about him. I think he’s a big, fat phony, a calculating, color-by-numbers peddler of pablum and a dreary, soul-killing narcissist. I’ve always thought that. I suppose I should take some measure of satisfaction that his former drooling acolytes in the press and voting public are now in agreement with me, but I don’t. I neither want to gawk at the train wreck nor hear all about its gory details.

Echoing and amplifying what Jon said:
I wish Edwards would just go ahead and re-enact Martin Sheen’s flashforward scene from the end of The Dead Zone.
